10 Chick Flick Cliches

Over at yahoo, advertising disguised as humor brought me to this video. Three actors from the new film He's Just Not That Into You try to talk to stereotypical chick-flick hating boyfriends everywhere into seeing the film, based on the fact it lacks certain chick-flick cliches.

I think they forgot two cliches: the abusive relationship and the "my best friend is dying" scene.

It's amusing, even though some of the jokes run a little long. It's worth a look:


I am a little interested in why a trend exists in turning self-help books into films, such as Woman, Thou Are Loosed.
